Now that I've been here a little while, thought I'd post a short Pros and Cons list of living in Britain.
Pros:
Blackcurrant is the best flavor ever. Everything should come in Blackcurrant.
Tetley Tea is marvelous black breakfast tea and it comes in giant packages.
Everything comes in pies here! It's great. Weird, but great.
The people have cool accents and are generally very friendly.
Doctor Who is a way of life.
So is Blackcurrant.
Cons:
EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS DAMP. Clothes, floors, drapes, walls, food, air, etc. Just damp. Always. Everything.
Mold is just a thing. Accept it and hope you don't die from the spores.
Stuff is deceptively cheap. It looks cheap, but remember! That thing is almost twice as expensive as it says! Gotta love exchange rates.
The weather isn't actually horrible yet. But it's damp. Rainy. And veeeeery windy. And did I mention damp?
Everything does not actually come in Blackcurrant flavor.
